With a kitten poking out of his coat pocket, watching the world go by with an air of curiosity, Zafer did look slightly stranger than normal as he strode over to Eir court, throwing the occasional glare at anyone who came to look at the kitten or stared for too long. "Hello," he said. And then: "We're going now. Hurry up."

She paused, then took an umbrella before closing the door behind her.

Crunch, crunch.

"Finally," he sighed, acting as if he'd been left waiting for hours. "You took too long."

And with that he started off out of the dorm. "Come on. We have to go somewhere that'll let me feed her. She's still a baby; she needs to be fed regularly, you know."

Naoko looked blankly at him before giving the kitten another glance.

It was such a tiny thing, to fit in his coat pocket. She looked away again. "You did not have to come to me."

"I wanted to," he answered. Which was the truth. It had been a while since he'd found someone who either didn't fight back or wasn't Zach. "Come along. We're getting cold."

"That will be fine," she replied. "You have its feed?"

"I have < i >her bottle. They < i >will let me warm it for her." Zafer was very clear about those points as he led the way to the cafeteria.

"It is convenient that they will allow you to heat her bottle," she answered. If she had more of an attitude, Naoko would have echoed his emphasis on those two words.

"Good. You're learning. Try to speak more, otherwise people won't understand your intent."

< i >Hello. Was that the cafeteria over there?

"It is not important for others to understand my intent unless necessary," she replied, entering the building after him.

"Then you're just confusing people." He answered, looking for a member of staff.

Seeing one, he signalled them impatiently, "Hey. You. Get me a bowl of hot water."
