Wow. Still having trouble coming up with anything to say (aside from rambling endlessly about my life - trying to keep this at least a little reader-friendly ;)). And I check this pretty much every day now, so I can make more of an effort on that front.
I AM SO HAPPY TO HAVE FRIENDS NOW! Haha,
friends_i_want is fantastic. It was really cool to put myself out there and then get a bunch of people asking to be my friend. This is completely opposite to the way I make friends in real life: I meet people, I pretty much get along with everyone so we bond over something or other, and if we reach the level of "friends" I deal with whatever traits or qualities of theirs I don't like, and shy away from expressing whatever of me I know they won't like. At least, I think that's how it works. I haven't actually gone out to "make friends" since I started high school, which is one thing that makes going to college so terrifying (and yet, so appealing!). So anyway, it's really refreshing to let other people judge me, for better or worse, and not be tempted to accommodate people so they aren't offended by me being myself and living my life. I'm excited to get to work on this a bit in my real life, to be somewhat more open with people about me and not worry if something about me is *gasp* not pleasing to them.
So yeah, good lesson from that, and now I know at least someone is reading my entries. Comments are always appreciated! :) Oh, and if I met you on
friends_i_want and we haven't exchanged comments since then, I probably don't remember what it is you said (or what I liked about you)...so basically I don't know the people I added...yeah. So if you'd like to introduce/reintroduce yourself, that would be great.
