...this is fucking scary. In the "Protect Life Act", A PA lawmaker is proposing a bill that will ban emergency abortions. As in, abortions where the mother will DIE if something is not done. Do they not realize that in many--if not most--cases, the fetus would die also? So you're losing not one but two lives? This bill is NOT pro-life. It's pro-death. It's saying that the life of a living, breathing woman has no value over that of a fetus. The irony of it burns--we want to protect the life of a fetus...with the sacrifice of the life of a woman.

This is as disgusting as it is terrifying. It makes me sad, ashamed, and frightened to be from Pennsylvania.
