(no subject)
Hey look, I'm posting from the couch! And not from my phone! Hurray new laptop :-D I woke up this morning to a pee-soaked baby. Kevin put a new diaper on him, but no cover. Sigh. However I also woke up to the Fed Ex lady knocking on the door to deliver the amazing shiny new MacBook, which pretty much made up for the pee-soaked baby thing. I was so excited that I didn't miss the FedEx delivery I figured it was safe to go out to lunch with Mom and Dad. So I get home and there's a note from FedEx on the door. Weird, cuz I'm fairly sure I only ordered one laptop...but okay. Yeah, it's for the case I ordered with the laptop. Apparently they shipped the case in a separate box, but on the same shipment order. And, because the box with the case came separately but I signed for the shipment when the laptop arrived, they put me down as having rejected delivery of the case. Gah. So I have to drive to the FedEx store this evening to pick up the case before they send it back to Apple, because they suck and their policies are silly, but whatever. Minor annoyance in the face of having a shiny new MacBook to play with all afternoon! Now if I can just stop playing with the new OS long enough to get some knitting done...
