♨ Riou arrived with Tyr in the City, all soaked because they'd been in the middle of a srs and philosophical ( read: fish, what fish? ) fishing session. Even if they'd only really known each other for several months, Riou sees Tyr as a big brother... because Tyr is older even if physically Tyr looks younger than him and because Tyr was in similar position before. ( read: screwed up destiny ) [ relationship grade = 9/10 ]
♨ To Riou, Luc is that "dude who always stands in front of the Stone Tablet of Promise". Really. It's hard to think otherwise because the few times Riou went jogging in the middle of the night, Luc was... there. Standing like a freak statue. Honest judgments based on appearance aside, Riou likes Luc. This is probably because Luc never sic'ed a rock golem on him "for fun" but hey... Riou just really likes his friends. And that's right, even if Luc is Mr. McFrown, I Like to Frown and Be a Bitch Because I am a Bitch... Riou really, really likes him. He finds it funny that Luc always has that flat expression and gives horrible scores in the cooking matches... [ relationship grade = 8/10 ]

♨Huweeee! ...Honestly, Riou puts Meredy in that "Weird Star of Destiny You Must Recruit But Is Cute Anyway" category. Not quite as weird as some of the weirdos he's asked to join his army, but special nonetheless. The referring to self is... kind of cute and freaky at the same time. But you won't hear him talking about that. That's just his honest, deep-heart, deep-deep-heart opinion. Meredy is cute, and Riou likes her. That's all anyone really needs to know. [ relationship grade = 6/10 ]
♨ Yuri... reminds him of Viktor the Bear. But prettier, yep. He also thinks Yuri can probably draw a lion without it looking like a bear. Yuri's just fun to talk to because he's so laid back and ~mature~ ... reminds him of home (and Viktor, ahahaha). It also helps that Yuri makes some reaaally good crepes that can make Luc eat happily and give "2s". The bared midriff makes Riou wonder if Yuri can pass for a narcissist though... but hey, Yuri doesn't go around sparkling with roses... [ relationship grade = 7/10 ]
♨ If Yuri reminds Riou of Viktor... then Shing reminds him of Hix. You know, the failure swordsman who gets bossed around a lot and framed by his manlier fiancee? Riou doesn't want to know if Shing has a Tengaar equivalent... Anyway, Riou likes Shing. He's... a normal and okay guy... Riou knows Shing is probably that kind of friend you can't help but worry a bit for. You know, what with all getting stabbed suddenly without them looking the first time they met and teamed together... [ relationship grade = 6/10 ]

[ Nanami ]
♨ Riou will always, always, always love Nanami. Even if Nanami was a bit on the abusive side and kicked him off the bed and basically made a bitch out of him in front of his army most of the time... bottomline is, Nanami is family. Will always be family. Besides, it's probably Nanami's routine "big sister tops little brother" abuse that made it easy for everyone to like Riou... so Riou doesn't feel bad at all. He misses Nanami a lot. [ relationship grade = over 9000/10 ]
[ Jowy ]
♨ So what does one write about the bestfriend who almost put the blame of murdering someone on you, lead an army against you, tried to kill you in a peace conference, and then sent an assassin lady to your room? ...see, despite all that, Riou really, really, really loves Jowy. Like Nanami, abusive tendencies aside in the recent months, Jowy is family. Jowy is one the chief reasons Riou hasn't run off from his army: he wants to be there in the last moment so that they don't kill Jowy... you know, evil King and all. He believes that Jowy... uh... must have a reason for all his batshittery. It's probably mostly denial. But family is family. So family will be loved. [ relationship grade = over 9000/10 ]
