"We're not groupies... we're band aids
My Mum is a groupie. Of sorts. She loves her pop opera, except Patrizio the Italian - sometimes I feel like I'm living in a Fellini film there is that much Italian opera playing in my house. Loudly. All the time. I can be walking up the street, 200m away and hear it.
Anyways, she's insanely excited because she's seeing Amici Forever this week at the Opera House. They did an instore last year and she got to meet them and had her cds signed. She bought the DVD today and is watching it at the moment. Loudly. And I'm getting the running commentary on it as well.
"Oh he's soo cute"
"It's not going to be the same since X left the band, the harmonies will be out."
"Ohhhh how do I rewind it to hear it again?"
"Ohhhh Lou come and watch this, he's sooo cute and when I met them in real life...."
