(no subject)
I should be under the knife as I type, but it was not to be. After all the build up and loads of phone calls to the hospital yesterday they told me not to go in as they wouldn't operate and they didn't want me to infect everyone else. Fair enough I suppose - but annoying when it was in their xray department that I got it! I cannot remember having a cold as lethal as this EVER before. I ache, my eyes and nose are streaming, my ribs hurt when I cough and I can barely keep awake. Not good. Also I have been told that after next week the surgeon is off for a fortnight so I'm guessing that it will be more than a months wait for the next slot. They had better not ask me to go for a pre op check up that time - but I sense they will!
