New narugaa oneshot and upcoming story
I was on a random splurge one day, attempting to locate all of my story notes, and once I had found the better part of them, I sat down, looked over them, and after four days, this was the result:

After the random spouting of the past few oneshots, this one was more my usual style. Although, it was still a little unusual with the way I set up the time-jumps. It ended up being much more angsty than I expected......Seriously. I had expected it to be much more lighthearted, touching on funny moments that happen in childhood without any "real" consequence. But then I realized that there are consequences. As for the ending, that's what I really struggled with, because it's not as definite as some might like. It leaves open the possibility that Naruto and Gaara might very well go on hurting one another. But, most often than not, relationships are not without a little bit of pain. I actually consider the ending to be more hopeful than foreboding because the two have finally addressed their feelings explicitly. A lot of the blowups and miscommunication is due to the fact that they skirt around the romantic feelings that are steadily developing between them. Meh. Readers might see it differently, but that's what I got out of it. Who knows how it came across.
That aside, I'll be posting a new story soon, and a multi-chaptered one at that. Yikes, I know. It's been a short while since anything lengthy has been attempted. Either way, it's called "Twelve Degrees of Separation," and it centers around the weirdest topic, but I'm pretty excited about it. Of course, it's NaruGaa, but every other character in the story plays their own important part. It's going to be so fun. And angsty. Of course.
