A case of mistaken location

This is what happens when I move, things like to follow me.  For instance, I moved from Florida to DC.  A weak hurrican/tropical storm rolls through Florida, causing little to no damage.  My family makes out absolutely fine, lights don't even flicker.  The storm keeps going, smells a Floridian where he's not supposed to be and decides to make another pass.  I lose power for 14 hours and counting.  This is ridiculous.  Not only is this crazy, but so is the power company up here, Pepco.  Last night, the lights came on, they went off, they came on, they went off.  It was such a tease!  Now they're off, so there's no teasing at least, but I'd like power back.  Who wants to be in the library on Labor Day weekend writing Briefs.  Well, okay, I was going to be writing briefs anyways, but I'd rather do it from the comfort of my own basement.  Hmph
