Okay, The Woman in Black is over. It was much different this time around. In the VBC, it simply couldn't be as intimate and immersive as it no choice other than to be at Renaissance. It was still good - there were things about it I liked better - but the overall experience of it was better at Renaissance. Phil asked me hang onto all that paper yet again, just in case a WIB III ever goes on the stage. Heck, I'd do it again.
Daskolos has Veteran's Day off today; so, me being the sweetheart that I am, I took one of my few remaining vacation days today so I can spend some time with her. Incredibles, here we come!! We haven't yet had opportunity to see this film, and I've been dying to ever since it came out last Friday. This will make me a very happy camper indeed.
Other movies I want to see that are out now or will be within a week or two? Saw, National Treasure, The Forgotten, Friday Night Lights, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, Ladder 49, Ray, Woman Thou Art Loosed, and whatever that freaky weird new one is with Nicole Kidman where her husband is reincarnated and comes back to her as a 12-year old boy or something. It sounds peculiar as heck, but the reviews, while being primarily negative, have piqued my interest.
Willowesque and I discussed recently the possibility of an Anne of Green Gables marathon viewing sometime during the week between Christmas and New Year's. Make it so, Willowesque. Of course, a marathon viewing of all three extended editions of The Lord of the Rings movies would also be quite alright in my book. Whaddaya say, amigos?
Speaking of Christmas - there was also a discussion the other day of a particular Christmas party that would smack of hilarity and fun, eh Susie and Willowesque? I say we plan that bad boy and have a good time. Oh, Willowesque, have you made any progress on my Christmas compilation CD? I could use some good music for the Christmas season as I currently have NONE.
