Watashi no Taiyou (My Sun)
Artist: KOKIA
Album:
Remember MeLanguage: Japanese
File Size: 12.2 MB
Type: Pop/Ballad
Rating: A
Comments: Watashi no Taiyou is one of my favorite KOKIA songs. It's very light and ballad~ish but it's just great to listen to and very nice on the ears as well. KOKIA has a very distinguishable voice that's just lovely to listen to. Her songs, including this one, just have incredibly catchy melodies that you'll find yourself listening to over and over again.
Title:
Ai Ni (Love You)
Artist: Cyndi Wang
Album:
Ai NiLanguage: Chinese (Mandarin)
File Size: 5.02 MB
Type: Pop
Rating: A+
Comments: This was uploaded not too long ago but it was requested so it's back up. If you missed it the first time, you should really download this time. You know, I'm going to be lazy and just copy and paste the comments that
aerith0530 originally wrote for the song ^^; -- Kya~ This is just uber cute! Her voice is cute, the melody is cute, and even the lyrics are cute! “If you sneeze, then it must be me thinking about you. Woken in the middle of the night by a phone call, must be me worrying about you.” Is this adorable or what! This really can get people hyper…
Title:
Romantic EnergyArtist: 12 Girls Band
Album:
Romantic EnergyLanguage: N/A
File Size: 3.85 MB
Type: Instrumental
Rating: A
Comments: 12 Girls Band is a band of 12 girls (well, duh...) who use traditional Chinese instruments to play their music and it's just beyond awesome. If you've never heard anything by 12 Girls Band or haven't listened to many songs played by just traditional instruments, you're missing out. Romantic Energy is kind of a slow~ish song, well...mildly tempoed I'll say but it's quite nice and it has a nice essence of ancient China in it that you can just feel.
Title:
SomewhereArtist: Sweetbox
Album:
AdagioLanguage: English
File Size: 4.02 MB
Type: Pop
Rating: A+
Comments: Ah yes, my current music obsession and it's once of Sweetbox's slower songs...quite difference from the ones that I uploaded before but she just has a variety of styles in her music to begin with. I just absolutly love this song and I don't know quite how to describe it. It gives off a really nice feeling to it and I love her lyrics although I can't relate to this one much...it's still nice. Agh, I'm bad with this...RECOMMENDED.
Title:
First Love ~One Wish~Artist: Shima Ken
Album: Majo no Jouken OST
Language: N/A
File Size: 2.51 MB
Type: Instrumental
Rating: A+
Comments: I know the file is labled as Utada Hikaru but that's just because I like to keep all of my First Love files together. Weird, yes I know. Anyhow, I'm sure not a lot of people know this but First Love is the main theme of a Japanese drama called Majo no Jouken. It was actually where I first heard the song but that's not important. On the soundtrack, there were many variations of the song done, instrumentals, by a man called Shima Ken and they are just wonderful. This one happened to be one of my favorites, think of First Love in a minor key. It is rather a sad version of the song, as if the original wasn't sad enough but it's just beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
Title:
LydiaArtist: Jang Nara
Language: Korean
File Size: 4.74 MB
Type: Ballad/Rock
Rating: A
Comments: I realized that there was no Korean song this time so here's one. Yes, this is a cover of F.I.R.'s Lydia. Personally, I like F.I.R.'s better since it seems that Faye's voice is better suited for this song than Jang Nara's. Course, I love Jang Nara so I have nothing bad to say about it and the song itself is enough for this to be worth downloading. Jang Nara has a sweet voice and this song is actually sort of a different style for her but I think she did a great job with it.
Last song is provided by
aerith0530. Everything below is written by her as well...you can tell because her comments beat mine by far =P I'm going to go ahead and say you better download because everything from her is really really good.
Title:
Ai Qing Cheng Bao (Castle of Love)
Artist: Wang Xin Ling (Cyndi Wang)
Album:
HoneyGenre: Ballad
Rating: 9.5 / 10
Duration: 3:26
Size: 4.72 MB
Comments: Many people know Cyndi by her song "Love You" (Ai Ni). Love You is a very pop and hyper song, and it really is a great song. However, I don't think many people have heard of her ballads. This one is a ballad from her newest CD, Honey, released on 2/18/05. The melody is soft and mellow, very, very nice to listen to. The lyrics are so nice too. It matches the melody well and it's very...Cyndi.
Last Poll: My school term ends in less than 2 months but it seems that people were all over the place with the school ending XD
