Today was a looong day
Since my last update there hasn't been too much going on, but it's always something when you've got children.
Emily tried walking quite a few times today. I'm just so happy! You don't know how good it is to see your 2nd child walk until you live with seeing them not able to for so long. It's nice to see that she is catching up. We were in her room and she took 5 steps! That's a lot for a beginner.
And while Ashlyn was down for a nap (Neither would go down at the same time so all day someone was up -whew) Emily got really sick really fast. She started throwing up and didn't stop until after 4 times!! It was very scary and you could see it upset her. So it was all over the couch and all over her. We rushed to the bathroom - got naked - and gave her a quick bath. She was fine after that and she just took it easy the rest of the evening. And the couch is fine too. Good thing it's a dark color.
And I realized just how crappy our apartment is (and that I do need to hear JY's advice sometimes - he's a good man). I had sprayed bleach on a stain in the kitchen thinking it would go away (like all the otheres i had just done) and little did I know that the bleach was eating away at the finish on the countertop and the discoloration was disappearing countertop. When we move from here they are going to just have to gut the whole thing. Our carpets have more stains than I've seen in my life and now the countertop.
Oh well, learn from mistakes.
