if you want to read the saddest thing in the entire world, be my guest:
http://www.boston.com/sports/baseball/redsox/extras/extra_bases/2006/03/arroyo_pieces_o.html so, this is a story of how i fell gravely ill at school and had to miss two classes and come home friday afternoon.
i had SUCH a bad virus that gave me a horrible sore throat and even worse stuffy/runny nose situation combined with championship sneezing.
classically, my asthma kicked in full-blast as soon as it heard that i was sick.
so i was NOT in good shape at all.
my mum took such good care of me, though.
she "fed a cold" and cooked me soup and made jello and sorbet pie and chicken pot pie and mashed potatoes (over the course of four days; not all in one day).
and i watched some movies and rested a lot.
and somehow got my nails done (the fumes did not aid my recovery).
and saw "goodnight and good luck" and "the corpse bride".
and got visits from some people, on sunday, that very much MADE my day.
thank you so much, thespina, andrea, janice, and li.
i am so blessed to have friends care that much about me.
and then there was thespinas birthday.
and i got worse again on monday and had a doctors appointment, so i missed work today and didnt come back to school until two, right before communications.
and i had to fight tooth and nail with my mum to come back, even though i obviously would rather be home.
i just had too much to do here.
and her argument is that health comes first.
which is right.
shes a smart mom.
but i just needed to get stuff done.
i hate that about being sick.
it always happens this way.
and i read two chapters of international relations while i was home.
and prepared my speech.
and spent A LOT of quality time with neb, who is visiting me at school for a while, a long with many other medications that i am currently on.
and thats my story, for now.
speech: done.
info tech: studied for.
IR midterm: dont want to think about it.
philosophy stuff: my brain cant handle that yet.
goodnight and good luck.
