Character Info
Character Name: Rhode Kamelot
Character’s Age: Between the ages of 45 and 7,000 (exact is still unknown.) She appears to be thirteen throughout the majority of canon, though in later chapters it can be argued that she appears fifteen or sixteen, from her height/figure.
Fandom: D.Gray-Man
Timeline: Taken from the end of chapter 204.
Appearance: Rhode is very small, very thin; since she normally looks like a teenaged girl, she would be about 4'10', maybe 5'0" in later chapters. In her “normal” form, she has dark hair and dark eyes with ivory-toned skin; in her “Noah” form when she decided to make use of her dreamworld power, her hair is a dark violet color, her eyes are yellow, and her skin is fairly dark, almost Hispanic-seeming. In this form, she also has a line of cross-shaped marks across her forehead. Her mouth is wide, especially when she smiles - which she normally is - and her eyes are quite large. She usually dresses in a very lolita fashion, with lacy dresses and stockings and mary-jane shoes, though she wears her hair in a very short, punk-esque spiked style.
History:
here Personality: Road has a surprisingly normal, child-like personality; she loves to be entertained, and if she doesn't receive almost constant attention or entertainment, she will throw a temper tantrum, just like any child. However, this shows to be more of a persona that she uses to help herslef deal with the rest of the world and the Family; it helps her get what she wants, so to speak. Rhode is actually very calculated and cold, though this side tends to only come out when her temper's been truly tested. She has secrets and an unknown past, and those are things that she would like to keep under wraps; she loves to be mysterious, while she always seems to have a knack for figuring out everyone else. She probably views that as a clear advantage, and uses it whenever she gets the chance. While she does come off as a rather adult thinker, she also continues to show some childlike mannerisms - such as the way she never verbally curses, though she clearly has those words in her vocabulary and isn't afraid to use them, as shown when she writes the word “fuck” in Miranda's blood. The fact that she's so skilled at playing the spoiled bratty child leads me to assume that was the age she felt the most comfortable during humanity, or possibly when she was changed from a regular human to a member of the Noah family, which was probably a very important turning point in her life. She never really lets herself lose control or get obviously angry over anything - not anything important or serious, anyway. The only time she yells or strikes out of anger is when she's with the Family talking about silly subjects, but when she witnesses Tyki being stabbed by Allen's Innocence - which is fatal to Noah and akuma - she maintains an eerie calm that seems to be the complete opposite of her normal demeanor. She remains level-headed under intense pressure, simply because she knows what she's capable of and what everyone else around her is capable of. Fights, to her, are like a game she's already figured out and won - in her head. Rhode views herself and her Family as unstoppable, and she's completely firm in her decision to wipe out humanity. It's not exactly a God-complex, really; it's more that she and her Family believe they were chosen by God to help the world reset itself, in a way, because it's become deformed and full of sins that can't be forgiven. She doesn't see good or bad; she just sees human, and is dead set that they don't deserve to keep going.
She's obviously spoiled, but it's unclear by who: her adoptive father Cyril Kamelot, her uncle Tyki Mikk, or the Earl - or all of them combined. She has a distinct sadistic nature, much like the child who loves lighting ant hills aflame with a magnifying glass, and this shows in her dealing with the Exorcists and other humans. This is shown when she destroys an akuma just to anger Allen, and also when she nails Miranda Lotte's hand to the clock in the Rewinding Town Arc, using the woman's blood to write a profane message. The strange part of that, though, is that she does have the capability to simmer down and actually care about people - though it doesn't come to her very easily. A relationship has to be built and worked on, and she would have to see the other person as worthy of her attention but weaker than she is, so that she can remain in control. Her tendency toward sadism also shows through her trolling; she likes to mess with people, and make them feel inadequate, or as though she knows more than they do, no matter the subject or situation. When she's bored, she'll stoop down to playing pranks, messing with people via the network, or just plain starting pointless and ridiculous arguments.
Although she hates and despises humans, she has an obvious fondness for Allen Walker - a feeling that she only seems to have toward her uncle Tyki Mikk and the Earl himself; it's not clear whether this is meant in a romantic way or simply an affectionate way, but her demeanor and mood seems to change whenever Allen is brought up in conversation, or whenever he appears. When she first encounters him on the Ark, Rhode launches herself at Allen, kissing him; however, this is the only evidence as of yet that her feelings for Allen are in any way similar to a crush. The rest of her interaction with him seems to suggest an affection of a deeper, more profound nature, possibly due to the fact that Allen harbors the 14th Noah, Neah, who could actually be termed a “relative” of hers, due to his own genes he inherited from Noah. Family is especially important to Rhode, even though she's a brat and treats the majority of them like dirt under nails at times; she'd come to their aid whenever they asked, for whatever reason.
Rhode only has two people who really mean something to her: the Millenium Earl, and her uncle Tyki Mikk. Tyki is the Pleasure of Noah, who apparently is the real brother of her adoptive father, Cyril Kamelot. The Millenium Earl is, in the series, akin to evil incarnate, despite his cartoonish appearance, but Tyki himself is shown to be one of the more humane Noah; one of the quotes that can be found in DGM that adequately describes him has been translated to read: “I destroy what I love. I love humans.” This leads me to believe that Tyki is working toward the same goals as the other Noah for an entirely different reason, but he still cares for and dotes on Rhode the same as everyone else, including the Earl himself. Rhode is used to being cared for 24/7, and pampered to a ridiculous degree. She has no real sense of decency or manners, nor does she really feel any sense of responsibility - which is actually quite ironic, given that her true age is more like 45 than 13.
Powers/Abilities: As the Dreams of Noah, Road has the ability to create dreams for people, and trap them inside. She can manipulate dreams and space, creating doors that can allow the user to move anywhere; this is more than likely borne from her being the only one besides the Earl himself and the 14th who can control the Ark. She can also change her form at will; no one knows her true form's appearance, and without knowing it, she can't be killed, rendering her mostly immortal.
As a Noah, she has the ability to control the akuma, and she's immune to the poison in the akuma's blood. Most of the Noah hate the taste, but Road seems to actually like it. She also has very quick regenerative abilities, and she can create prisons around people, entrapping them inside boxed barriers.
She's a charmer, so she obviously knows how to manipulate others to get what she wants or needs, but other than that, a good chunk of her powers seem to be of the otherworldly variety. She can also speak English, Japanese, and German, I believe, as she enters both countries and remains perfectly understandable to the people living there.
In the later chapters, it's been revealed that she knows of the Bookmen and their goings-on, but the extent of her knowledge has yet to be revealed - as does her age and her background. It's probable that's been around for a good amount of history and knows far more about the human psyche than she lets others believe; this combined with her apparent sadism seem to make her quite the sociopath. She can analyze people, groups, and entire situations simply by observing for a short while before putting her other powers to good use. This more than likely stems from centuries of watching humans and civilizations around her, and it helps key up her manipulative abilities to an all-time maximum.
She also seems to be lacking severely in the conscience department - though not completely. She regrets some things while feeling that others - such as killing people and mutilating them - are totally justified, and never offers them a second thought. This helps her go much further than most people would.
Limitations: I will probably be taking away the dreamworld ability completely, since it can become really godmodey, and it doesn't seem like it would work with this setting at all. I was thinking about letting her keep her doors and her ability to travel through them, but they might... take her to the wrong place most of the time, and to keep things interesting (and keep her true to the nature of the game), she won't be able to change form and can be injured/killed.

Something in Rhode wished the carriage would just stop.
No, not stop; she wanted it gone. She wanted it to cease existing.
With a huff, she hugged her arms around herself, the small limbs wrapping easily around her thin frame. Eyes unseeing, she turned her head just slightly to the right, burrowing into her thick jacket, and then into the seat. The fake feathers lining the hood of her jacket brushed lightly against her cheek as she stared out the window, taking a deep breath before making a face and leaning forward.
Tyki glanced over at her from the seat opposite her own. “Cold, my darling?” he asked; a simple question, and Rhode detested the ever-playful tone of his voice right then.
Why can't I hear it now, where I am?
For a moment, she wasn't sure why that thought ran through her head; pouting at him emphatically, Rhode shook her head. “I'm just tired of the rocking,” she replied, surprisingly short with her favorite uncle. There was this hidden bitterness, lying just below the surface of her boredom. Glancing back and forth between Tyki and the window to her right, Rhode thought it over; she couldn't see anything past the flurrying snow outside the window, but that didn't stop her from looking as she pondered.
What's been made so different? she wondered.
The snow outside became thicker against her window, and the girl couldn't see anything through the fog and the freshly fallen chaos outside the windshield. Tyki never seemed to notice, though; he just kept humming.
Is it me? Am I what's different?
Suddenly the cold filled the car, though the windows were still shut tight. Tyki was still humming, and the sound grew in volume, until Rhode felt as though she were drowning in it.
“Tyki, stop,” she said. The humming continued to fill the small space, and it was distorted; it didn't even sound like Tyki anymore! The pitch was too high, the tone too feminine, and she barely recognized it...
Squeezing her eyes shut, Rhode pushed herself back, further into the seat, hands covering her ears and her eyes and her whole head and she screamed, “Stop it! Stop the car, stop the humming, stop everything!”
And it did. The carriage fell into complete silence, and Rhode blinked her eyes open, letting them focus on the window once more.
She sighed and took a breath, letting her hands down. “Thank you,” she murmured.
“You're welcome, Rhode.”
The effeminate voice that answered her wasn't Tyki's - though it was alarmingly familiar. The girl's head snapped to the left, dark eyes wide and lips parted in surprise and horror. Sitting in the other seat instead now was a tall young man with messy black hair and a wide, sickening smile, in a light brown trenchcoat. He wasn't even watching the window anymore - just sitting there, hands clasped in his lap, eyes narrowed, smiling at Rhode with that stupid smile on that stupid face-
She screamed, coming to abruptly and realizing where she was; still in that nice house in that seemingly nice town. Sitting up, she looked around wildly a moment before letting her face fall into her hands. This place is going to drive me crazy, I just know it.

[ The screen cuts on to show an eye. Just an eye. It's an intense closeup; the iris is a deep, gold-yellow shade, and one can barely see the fingertip pulling down the bottom eyelid.
Off-screen, a male voice can be heard, though not very well; he sounds displeased. ]
Oh, quit trying to ruin my fun! [ The owner of the eye, obviously a girl now, sounds disgruntled, and she lets go and pulls back from the screen, showing her entire face. Her expression is annoyed. ]
I'm bored. Anyone have any solutions to this problem? [ Rhode presses her nose against the screen. ] Because yes, it's a problem.
