I'm alive! I come bearing icons! Some of them I've been using for a few weeks, but some of them are really new.
I could go on for awhile about how much I loved the first season of SVU. The characters were developing, the cases weren't absurd, and it all just seemed simpler. The focus was on the victims and the detectives, not the guest "stars". I've been tempted on many many occasions to buy the first season on DVD. I know there's an excellent chance it would drive me nuts to have a partial collection, so I'm still debating. There are other series I only have one or two seasons of (Veronica Mars, Alias, Jon & Kate Plus 8 [pre-media frenzy], Grey's Anatomy, Good Eats), so we'll see. I'm still thinking about it.
In other DVD news, Daria is coming out FUCKING FINALLY in 9 days!
I've also been toying with the idea of posting some of my original fiction here. I'd probably start with a couple of poems and then move on to a short story or two.
God I love pretending like this is the most stressful stuff weighing on my mind. It's a lovely relief!
