Oh wow, I loved this. I really loved the little details (the slusho especially) and the way that Richard and Bob made Elle love Bob. So twisted and dark, just how I like my Elle-fic.

I really love the idea that the wrongness of the relationship between her and Bob comes out MORE as the love is forced - and that it warps into the kind of thing we saw on the show in S2 because you can't force love, emotion doesn't work like that. Add in the fact that fucked-up is my flavor of choice for Elle, and there's a lot of shit going on here.

Ah its nice to see you writing Elle/Claire again.

I will always love this cold Claire/vulnerable Elle dynamic. I do however hope Claire lightens up soon. For Elle's sake. =)

I honestly find your cold Claire to be extremely terrifying, simply because it's so believable given what's happened in her life. I love your fics because you truly explore the Heroes universe the way that it should be explored. I genuinely feel like I'm back watching S1 when I read your characterizations and plot twists.

“I really want to go home,” Claire says then, and her voice wavers a little, goes quiet.

This time, the ache in Elle’s chest isn’t where Daddy’s bullet opened her up.

Cold Claire makes so much sense to me, honestly - and later on, I can almost see her becoming crueler for no reason at all than Adam, yo. It just works too well, and I wish I read more of it. Contrast her to Elle finally growing into herself and they're the worst and best thing for each other right now.

AND THEN THERE'S THE PLOT COMING OVER THE HILL LIKE, RIGHT NOW!
