(1) I had to take a few days to collect my thoughts about The Snowmen, but I think I have thoughts now. Yes.( probably too many thoughts about an episode involving evil snowmen )

His insides are his outsides.

I thought this as well, especially when he adjusted his bowtie in front of the mirror. I couldn't figure out if he really felt that way because Clara (/Amy/River-substitute) or he was convincing himself.

The Weeping Angels didn't destroy him; his best friend did. That's the one thing he can't get over.

But my basic reaction is still to lol at him and wonder how he keeps his CDs of Snowpatrol from falling off the clouds, where he couldn't stop Clara from. (And I don't get why he can't stop Clara from falling, HE HAS A TARDIS).

Less explicitly, her personal similarities to Amy -- brash, fiery, flirtatious, shoves her tongue down his throat, etc. -- probably sped up the attachment process, you know, just a bit (never mind Moffat's kinks, MY HEADCANON IS BETTER)

Hmm, she reminded me as much of River as she did with Amy. I think she's a mimic of some sort, the way her personality shifts so much. But I will accept your headcanon instead of thinking that Moffat simply writes all his major female characters that way.

Those are lovely pics. Especially dig the Elena ones.

I'm actually rewatching The Snowmen on TV (... it's a rerun) right now, lol. The scene with the bowtie and mirror just happened and I think I've figured it out. The Doctor's glee after he misinterprets Clara saying "it's cooler" is sincere, because he does genuinely revel in wearing bowties and all that jazz -- but only if there's someone watching. He needs an audience for the performance, obviously.

You know the Doctor spent the last however many years blasting Snow Patrol's "Run" on repeat while burning all of his tweed suits in a pile along with framed photos of the Ponds. (Also, he couldn't save Oswin because there needed to be a contrived dramatic death sequence, obvs.)

lol, I think we're just going to have to accept that Moffat is Moffat. Still, I choose to believe that the Amy similarities were intentional because there were already so many specific Amy references (the glasses, "five minutes", etc.). Also because I have an Amy bias, WHATEVER WHATEVER.

And thank you! Glad you like the pics.
