I actually I don't think I can pick a favorite Buffy episode. Favorite moments or lines, maybe. Which is funny, because I can choose favorites from other shows that I like (Angel: Smile Time; Supernatural: The Monster at the End of the Book [though there are many, many second favorites]; Firefly: Out of Gas [followed closely by Jaynestown and Our Dear Mrs. Reynolds]; Community: Epidemiology; Arrested Development: Pier Pressure, etc. etc.).
Smile Time, Out of Gas, and Pier Pressure are all wonderful, though none of them are my number one. Though OOG is very close. (I don't actually watch SPN or Community, so....) I'm pretty sure Pier Pressure is my favourite season 1 episode though.
Pier Pressure wins because I fell off the couch laughing the first time I watched it. No matter how good the show got, it was always going to be my number one. :-)
Mine is probably Good Grief. The Charlie Brown joke is perfection, but what gets me is the physical double act of Gob and Buster on an ostensibly solemn occasion.

Well, if you say so...
Fine, I am intrigued by these things you speak of. I'll mark it as a priority.
