One of the Few Music Videos I Actually Like

Working as a kiddie party host at a bowling alley on the weekends, I have to endure all sorts of pop music videos for hours on end. This is the kind of video I wish they'd play all day instead. I don't know what to envy more, Amy Lee's powerful voice, or her show-stopping dress. Just look at that dress. LOOK. AT. IT. Just . . . wow.

That's the beauty of the music video--even if you're not crazy about the music, the aesthetics still make it worth watching! :)

I like a lot of their videos (her dress in the one you shared above is AMAAAAAAZIIING!!). Also their "Bring Me To Life" vid is pretty fascinating, and heck, I even like "Everybody's Fool" haha!

Have you seen The Band Perry's ''If I Die Young'' video? It gets double the points for referencing The Lady of Shalott AND Anne of Green Gables' take on Tennyson's poem!! >:)

Hayley Westenra has the prettiest one I've ever seen, though.

My all-time favorite Evanescence music video is "Lithium", hands down. I also like Amy Lee's dress in "Call Me When You're Sober", even though I didn't like the rest of the video much, save for the gorgeous wolf.

I hadn't seen "If I Die Young" before, but I have now. Love her dress and the double reference to two of my favorite things. :)

Oooo, Hayley Westenra's dress in that video is really pretty! I'd never seen that one before. O.O

My brother likes the sober video, and IIRC it had a plaid dress, so naturally I'd like that as well. LOL!

Yup, plus their album is pretty good, so now I'm officially a fan and haven't gotten tired of it yet mwahaa! (Good housecleaning music!)

Heck, it's the VIDEO that gets me. So classy and subtle and ethereal. But then that's her in a nutshell. (You might like her Wuthering Heights video; have you seen it?)

LOL. I have seen Hayley's Wuthering Heights video--and I first saw it on your journal. :D Love that song, even though it's pretty tough to sing along, it's so demanding on the voice.
