(no subject)
oh livejournal, how i've missed thee. I'm keeping busy these days with 59 hour work weeks that have no end in sight. Of course, next weekend will be a brief respite since I get every fourth weekend off. Whoopee. At any rate, I plan on heading up to Norman to spend some quality time with friends. Sadly, I have to travel to do that seeing as how I have virtually zero friends down here. It's a combination of not having the time, not making the effort, and just generally not hanging out anywhere where I would meet people I want to hang with. Oh well. I'm not really stressing about it, as I've entirely too much on my plate as it is.
Other than the crazy schedule, I'm quite enjoying working at Labinal. It's not boring, but it's not that hard, either. I have to pay attention, to be sure, but it's not very difficult. I put in my transfer request for 1st shift the other day and I'm hoping that I'm able to move fairly soon, as this whole 3:30 to 1 thing is not working too well for me. I end up just sleeping or watching the tube and not getting anything done. While I didn't particularly enjoy going to bed at 8 or 9, at least I got more out of my day that way. It's just to hard to convince myself to work out or clean the house or anything else, really, when I'm working the hours that I am. Oh well.
As a quick side note: this guy at work was just promoted and made an OJT (on the job trainer). More specifically, this adorable guy at work is now the guy that has to come answer all my questions about what the fuck it is that I'm supposed to be doing. And I have a lot of them. Nice.
