Standup comedy is so awesome. I've been going to this open mic at the Velveeta Room every week since June 12th. Tonight I finally tried the other comedy club in Austin, Capital City Comedy Club. Things really went well for me. Because I enjoyed it and I feel part of an awesome community. Did people laugh or not? I dunno, occasionally- but I love writing the jokes, as mediocre as they are. And that's enough to keep me going back. Jack, you going up soon?
