whine, whine

Finished Deathy Hallows. Also read White Oleander, which was geat but I don't quite feel like posting a review. This summer has been painfully solitary and I'm very glad it's nearly over. It reminds me of high school being in this town. I have spent most of my time sitting in my room on the internet or watching television. I've noticed my tendency towards depression seems to increase with isolation. It's like the more I'm alone, the more I feel I can't be around people. I start to look forward to interaction less, and get lost in my head. I know it's not particularly healthy. I take long naps because there's nothing else to do. My mom keeps saying, "I'm worried about you. I think you're depressed." She thinks the answer is a pill. Or a prayer. I know some people really get help from medication. But I feel like this is something I have to handle on my own. I also feel that for someone who is left alone with her thoughts so often, I have very little actually worked out. I don't know what I want half of the time. I will think I'm certian one day, and the next I doubt. And I get so grouchy and snappy all the time. I don't want to be that way. I know I'm looking at moving back to school as some sort of panacea. I know it's not, but it really does help. I'm much happier when I'm at school.
