YOU WERE THE CHOSEN ONE!
Muaha. Went and saw the last Star Wars movie last night with Nathan. Lot's of fun. Movie was wicked, if a bit cheesy at times. But Padme's death was pretty dumb. "She's lost the will to live." Mhm. Right. And I'm sure the fact that her Jedi husband has just turned to the Dark Side and become the new Sith Lord has nothing to do with it.
Er, I'm done being incredibly geekish now.
After the movie we came back here for a bit, and I kicked his ass playing poker and blackjack only to lose horribly at crazy eight's. Bah.
Guh. Now I have to figure out where I'm going to escape to tonight. My parents are having a barbecue with their friends, and the oldest of the children of these friends that are attending is about... oh, six. Great. And we have a pool. Oh god. So my plan of action concerning tonight: hide all the pool stuff I don't want goobered on, maimed, or broken; hide everything in my room I don't want mauled; find a way to barricade my room door; hide my favourite DVDs, the PS2, and any other game systems, including my Nintendo DS; arrange to have my poor dog escape with me, and I should be set.
I will WALK down to my grandparent's house if I have to. I'll do it. You know I will. I am avoiding this soiree at all costs.
LESS THAN A WEEK LEFT OF SCHOOL! YES!
And then I start work.
Yay.
I'm gonna go find any food that isn't being sacrificed for the bbq tonight.
