Wow, you got me there - I don't even know who Erwin MacManus is. And I don't even know if I should be properly ashamed of that!
I would razz you about making the leap from Pollyanna (the book) straight to the Disney movie... (and which version do you know? the one with the actors from the Cosby Show? or the Hayley Mills one?) but I didn't actually glean that quote from the book myself. (I actually think that I didn't read the first Pollyanna book, because my grandma and greataunt somehow managed to have that book go missing from thier childhood collection,
