So FanExpo was pretty fun!

Friday:
Drove out early-ish in the morning with my crew, arrived in T-Dot around 1:00 pm. Couldn't get checked in until 3:00, so went straight to the con. Good thing too, because the line-up was pretty big. Finally got in, and not twenty minutes passed before I found Rodimus & Ironhide (from the Transformers: Animated line)! Lissa found the DVD set for Pinky Violence collection, which she's been after for some time now. Can't remember too much else being of event on the 1st day - tons of paparazzi shots, Q&A w/ Bill Moseley, Peter Mayhew (the original Chewie) walked behind me (like less than two feet away), made a hilarious ass of myself on the Kinect demo, had some damned good Mexican food later in the evening. Back at the hotel, everyone passed out pretty much immediately.

Saturday:
The biggest day by far, SO many people were there! They actually closed the doors mid-afternoon; when we wanted to go out of the building for a bit, the staff said if we left, we would not be allowed back in. So, we stayed in!
Bought that Breath of Fire artbook I've been wanting for like five years! Pieces from BoF's 1 through V, some good stuff. Also picked up a G1 Swoop, the only Dinobot I've never had! A worthwhile (if fragile) $95 as I ever heard of. I went with Lissa to get Lance Henriksen to sign her DVD of Near Dark, he laughed at my t-shirt! We also checked out the big Tron presentation; it was in a huge theatre where we all got to wear 3D glasses to watch it. The 1st part was just the same trailer that everyone's already seen, but it was followed up with a short bit of footage from when the guy first arrives in the Tron world, so I guess that was new. The James Marsters & Summer Glau lines were crazy, not to mention the Adam West line. More paparazzi shots; Julie Newmar drove by me on a scooter, and me & Stuart got our photo taken with Michael Dorn (WORF), which was pretty sweet! Found a DeLorean parked just side the street level, so that was awesome. Went to a Troma panel, saw some clips from Creep Van & Father's Day - also went to a panel for the new I Spit on your Grave, looks harsh. East Side Mario's for dinner.

Sunday:
Shatner-mania happened today, but I spent my time going to Michael Dorn's Q&A, followed by Lance Henriksen's Q&A, which ended up being even better!
Stuart got to ask a question during Michael Dorn's Q&A, and he asked him if he wanted to "go out for a beer after this" - it was pretty funny in retrospect, but MD kind of paused, and no one said anything! He then finally said "uh, I'm not a drinker".
Gave in & bought "Cop on a Mission", purely because of its name (I did this once before with "Violent Cop"). Last day of the con, Swiss Chalet for dinner.

Drove back home on Monday, hit up Pacific Mall before leaving. Found a little Ping-Pong Club figure of the two guys on the panda car; priceless!
