The laser sensors will detect my pale white body

Man I just got back from going out to my boss's cottage last night for a beer-fueled evening.

Had to catch up to everyone who was already there, so downed six Canadians pretty fast & got some hits off Keaner's weed. Ate some wieners & a hamburger patty that had been cooked on the BBQ, about four hours before I arrived (also they had been in the rain). Barton disappeared after a while, and we speculated he was asleep somewhere, like that other guy passed out upstairs who I didn't know.

Some of the guys started playing poker, made me wish I knew more than two card games at all, neither of which was that. After a few of them were out of the game, we all went down to the dock at like 11:30? Midnight? Anyway the lake was fucking pitch black, and the path down the stone steps to the dock were SO goddamned scary because I was high & drunk.

I'll tell you this, I've never swam in a lake at midnight by extremely limited lighting before. There was a blunt going around still, even when we were in the water! You had to shake your hand dry to get in on it, which was another first for me. I kept saying "Everyone, if Lake Placid gets me, I'm sorry" and also theorized if I swam out far enough, I might find Barton's ghost!

Anyways I had to work at 11:00 am this morning, so I tried to leave, but everyone was like man, you can't drive tonight and I was like FUCK so I passed out on the couch and woke up at like 5:35 am this morning. Everyone else was asleep too, so I just got my shoes (and forgot my mother f'ing phone) and went out the door. On the way to the van, I saw Barton sleeping in the back of his car, and the mystery was solved!

The drive back this morning was really surreal, there was a huge white mist-fog-haze over the countryside, I wanted to look up into it & see a huge tree-legged six legged monster or something. I'm not sure how I feel right now, a little sketchy. I guess I'll be over it when I get home & have some more sleep.

Looks like my foot got scratched up a bit, I could only tell it was a bit painful, but Lissa says there's a few cuts and some splintering.
