Retail Therapy

I went driving and shopping with dad today. Driving is very relaxing to me. It's almost like horseback riding only not. It's good to be in control of something. Shopping helps too.

I also saw Uncle Paul today. I don't think I've seen him in over two years. He gave me my Christmas present early--a make-up set. Maybe I'll learn how to do a bit of make-up here and there.

After visiting Uncle Paul I drove to the mall for the first time. I'm getting better at parking. I went in Bakers and bought some shoes. So now I have a cute pair of black heels that are my own and some closed-toe brown ones. These shoes actually fit me and are very comfortable. Hopefully dad won't work overtime all this week and I can wear them to dinner on Friday. I might wear the black ones to work, but it's a four-hour shift so I might not. Maybe after work with my jeans.

I went in Borders looking for a CD that the online inventory said they had but last time I was there I didn't see it. I still didn't see it so I asked for help and it turns out they only had one copy of it and it was nowhere in sight. So I asked dad if he wouldn't mind if we went across the street to Best Buy. Sure enough, they still had a copy on the shelf and I bought that and the DVD I almost bought last week. I'm broke again, but I still have a paycheck to deal with. Daddy's going to get paid most of it though--paying up for Heroes season 1 and the $1 I had to borrow from him today. But he's good at me paying him later. I might see if he'll place an order for some books and another DVD on amazon this week since I can't find any of them in stores near us. I'll have to make up a list and figure out prices.

Well, I've got homework to do. Later!
