(no subject)
Another insane, yet highly unproductive day. I read some of the Stephen White thrillers that've been gathering dust in the loft--since they are due tomorrow. I'm so increadible slow at reading books at times. I've got several that I own, that I bought last year and I still haven't read. Some of them came out over a year ago. How do I know? They've already issued the paperbacks.
Both parents are finally back at work starting tomorrow. The past week and a half has been hell dealing with them both allllll day long. I'm sooo glad they're back to busy schedules. Even though I must be present to deal with snack time at preschool tomorrow when I was going to either watch a movie (haven't done that since Friday night when I stay up till almost 3am to catch up on the DVDs I borrowed from work that were already a day late) or go for a run. Then take a shower and go to work, but instead I've got to get up and report to preschool, which means I either need to get up eariler or shower after visiting preschool. Neither is appealing and I've yet to do this week's laundry.
Tomorrow Kate can legally drive with one passenger in the car. Still haven't mentioned it to mum or our hopeful plans of seeing the 5th Harry Potter movie on Wednesday. Yeah... that's not going to go well. Especially since I'm, well, broke. Hopefully (fingers crossed) Emily's going to pay me for the copy of New Moon that I'm selling her (I decided to upgrade to the special edition and offered to sell my brand new copy of the first edition at a discounted rate) and mum will finally pay me the money she's owed me since the beginning of June.
Well, it's almost 11pm, so I'd better go get my meds and head to bed. My back's really weak sicne I've been spending so much time at my desk. Memo to self: USE THE FREAKING LAPTOP!
