Sooo I just came back inside from visiting Kate. She called my cell phone at 9:20pm and asked me if I was home. I said "Yeah, why?" and she asked me if I was in my room and I said "Yeah..." and she told me to look out my window. She was sitting out front in her car and I waved to her.
I ended up going outside and sitting in her car and we talked for a good 35 minutes at least. Mum was pretty pissed when I can back in because I left the front door open (shoot me for not bringing my keys with me) and I went outside in boxer shorts, a tee shirt, and a track jacket with no shoes.
We talked about all kinds of things and it turns out we both have work tomorrow morning. She might finally make it over to my house this weekend. At least that's the plan. The good thing was I have a stack of DVDs that I borrowed from the library the other day, so we'll have something to watch in addition to Red Eye.
The creepy part was that while we were sitting in her car, some guy in an older car kept crusing up and down the street every few minutes. It was rather unnerving because my neighborhood's creepy enough to begin with.
It cheered me up because Kate hasn't a clue what happened. And she's a happy person, so it kinda transfers especially because we've been best friends for so many years. It's a strange connection and we're both moving in different directions. Hopefully I can stay in MD a while long and convince Kate to stay as well. It'd be cool if me, Kate, and Carter all ended up sharing an apartment for a few years. Between the two of them, I don't see why my parents couldn't be okay with me living out of the house and staying here.
But then again, my parents aren't the nicest, greatest people in the world...
