I want to put a disclaimer on this post. I don't feel, that is I don't think in my mind, this is very applicable to this group. I have tried in the past to share things that this group can relate to and get something out of it. Anyway. For the first time since I have been doing them, both of my studies are talking about pretty much the same thing. I can't ignore the possibility of these studies importance. So, I will share them with you.
Proverbs 5
This chapter talks about the warnings against adultry. The
importance of staying faithful and devoted to your spouse. The
chapter says it different ways to make it's point easy to see.
When someone commits adultry, and there are different understandings of the boundries before you commit adultry but the bible makes it perfectly clear, it not only hurts their spouse but everyone around them. It can lead to so many different hardships later on. The Lord has many different reasons why you need to stay faithful, the main one being He created marriage to be sacred and one of the greatest gifts.

Job 14:7-9
These verses talk about how even though the stump (the marriage)
may be dead, there are still shoots (the children) that survive.
It's important to not throw away the shoots just because they are
growing from a dead stump.
When going through the heartache and fury of a divorce, and there are children involved, it's important to not use them as ammunition against the ex-spouse. They can be hurt greater than what is thought, it is hurt that can last a lifetime. The children are so precious.
My heart pulls me to say one more thing. If this reaches anyone on any level, you are in my prayers. One of the greatest things about our Lord is He knows what is in our hearts and knows our intentions, even if we may not know or understand what we are praying for.
