oh yes, i completely agree, winterson is absolute brilliant :) this is only the second book of hers that i've read--the first was oranges are not the only fruit--and i've promised myself that written on the body will be next. i do believe i'm falling in love with her prose, and thank you for enjoying it with me...

i'm sorry i've been commenting so little in your journal lately--i promise i'll get better as the summer progresses! when will you be done all your exams? i think we must have been sisters in another lifetime--we both have such great taste ;) she is fantastic and wonderful; i think this is one of my favourite books of all time too ♥
