Ok, so it's GEVA weekend, and I was volunteering for them as usual, and at the end of the show, a random guy came up to me at my merch table posting and said: "Don't take this the wrong way. I'm from Texas and you're never going to se me again, but you're absolutely gorgeous." *HAPPY FACE* Then he proceeded to run away before I could say anything. :-D
It was then that I unlocked the secret to life: It doesn't matter what you think about yourself, because if you wear nice clothing and smile, then there's bound to be someone out there who thinks you look good. There is hope. Not to be shallow, but that totally made my week. Maybe even my month.
That, along with the fact that my most recent plan to lose weight has been going swimmingly. I'll be down to what I consider a decent weight by my birthday. And by the end of the year, if I keep it up, I'll be down to my ideal weight, which I haven't been since I was... 13? Something like that. I'll probably have to reevaluate that standard, since I was a couple of inches shorter and a bit less *ahem* developed back in 9th grade, but I'll decide that as I go. The best part is, I haven’t had to really *do* anything to lost the weight. I just walk to class and eat less, and I'm all set.
