Just looked at when I posted last-time for an update.
I put in my notice at work, last night 2 November. Started packing and discarding. When I put in my notice I didn't have a job to go to but we *needed* to go. We planned to move into the fifth wheel and put some stuff in storage. You look at " stuff" differently when you have to pay to store it. So we rent a space and Chris takes a load of things there. On the way home the truck ends up with one gear: 4th. This is a problem on October 30th. Hoped for move out date is 3 November. We had been selling some stuff that wasn't worth storing including the washer/dryer. So I went to a friends to wash a small load. I fell leaving and fell-my own klutziness -and broke my left foot. Didn't work my last 2 nights since I did this on November 1st. I had also been offered a contract job in Denver starting 14 November and was going to accept until I ended up on crutches. Ooops. But the orthopedist took me off crutches, gave me a postoperative shoe to wear and gave me a work release. I start in Denver on 28 November. I refer to my foot as the peacock foot, it is many colors and swollen. But I'm getting around.
So we are living in the fifth wheel in the driveway, have a commercial company coming on the 17th to move it to the space we have reserved in Denver and a uhaul on Monday to take the rest if the stuff to storage. Gonna be glad to get this over.
