supply run
Saturday we went to Albuquerque. It started out to see the state fair but Chris cannot walk long distances and there is **no** accommodation at the site. I mean, I'm willing to drop him one place, go park the car and then hoof it across the grounds to meet him but you can't even do that. So they didn't get our business and we didn't get to go to the fair. Grrr.
Oh well, went to the hotel. Interesting place, kinda retro with temperpedic beds and HD TVs. We checked in and then went to dinner to a favored buffet. Came back and I passed out-keeping weird hours again--Chris watched some tube and I was awake at 0300. By 0530 I realized I was starving and went to breakfast at 0600 when the hotel started their continental breakfast thing. Back to the room and ended up going back to sleep and woke up at 1152 and told Chris he better get a move on. (Check out was noon and I had already showered and packed.) We got out at 1230, so not bad. Went to Sam's club, the hardware store, Walmart, tried to go to Costco but they didn't have what I wanted so I didn't join as I was planning to, got a massage and headed back to Crownpoint. The car was heavily loaded and groaning. Got home and unloaded all the stuff, had a friend over for dinner and then Chris and I packed it in for the night. The kitties were very happy to have us home--I didn't have anyone to come feed them so they had extra dry food. Poor kitties!
