Gay Rights

We would like to know who really believes in gay rights on livejournal. There is no bribe of a miracle or anything like that. If you truly believe in gay rights, then repost this and title the post as "Gay Rights". Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind.
You'll note there's a portion missing, the one about people who disagree with this statement just taking me off their friends' list. I believe in this issue, but I also believe it's irresponsible to burn a friendship -- even one based online -- over a disagreement on one particular issue. There's friends with whom I disagree on several things, but I wouldn't lose that friendship for anything. And besides, practicing intolerance -- "if you don't believe in this, you're not my friend" -- only undercuts any argument in favor of tolerance. And that's your rant for the week.
