Regarding the
outrage that has ensued following Facebook's pro-knifing bias hitting the front pages and top stories this afternoon, I'm afraid we're witnessing another example of 'stupid England'. Who do we have, publically, expressing this anger, disgust, vehemently spitting disdain at the sheer bloody state of it all? Only the uncle of the Harry Potter actor (isn't that 'just cause' enough?) who got stabberoonied in May.
"If the authorities really want to get tough on knife crime, the CEO or directors of Facebook should be arrested for inciting violence."
See, it's that A list connection, the implication of our post-Diana national treasure, super billionaire JK Rowling; stories we all know and love. I think this: that jesus christ, for gods sake, christ almighty- do we really believe that Facebook, or even the designers of the application in question are culpable or in any way responsible for the spate of knife crime here up? It's fun! Careful, you might get e-stabbed. That shit'll fuck y'all up, badman irie and ting.
Instead, stupid proles, focus your dwindling attention spans and lacklustre imaginations on this: Give these stab-ready teens some fucking realistic aspirations. Stop baiting them with celebrity trash, visions of the high life. Visit anywhere outside of zone 2 and compare with Regents Street. Whats going on? We've treated the suburbs like neglected colonies; communities we'll spoon-feed only when they behave themselves appropriately and slander when they kick up a fuss. What did you expect? The most frustrating thing out of all of this is that these disenfranchised people are remain caught up in squabbles and in-fighting, in local disputes, rather than reaching out to challenge those that are making the rules for them. To these people, bling started as cardboard and tinfoil, it was parody and irony. Did you not get the joke?
