Why this is a good read: I am horribly bias in reccing this story since it's a remix of mine. It's a remix of my story Love in Times of War which I wrote for writcraft during femmefest's 2013 exchange. As mindabbles says in her author notes, she brought my story to it's logical conclusion (what it could be according to her). And it's such a darling conclusion. Without commenting to much on the plot since i don't want to spoil much, the use of nature not only as a way to marking the passing but also of making sense of the past and of the future is a a delightful surprise. I urge you all to check out this story if you love stories of slow pacing, full of intent and hope.
