I’ve finally decided that it’s time for me to undergo Hydrodialation. It’s a procedure where a Urologist slowly stretches the urinary tract, and when they enter the bladder it’s filled it with a Saline solution just a few ml above its saturation point. This leaves microscopic tears with in the bladder and causes the nerve ending to be damaged and become numb for a number of months, or years.

I’m a good candidate for this procedure. The reason I haven’t done it sooner was because the week after the procedure you feel like complete shit and are prone to infections. Also, I hear you might piss yourself if you don’t use the bathroom immediately after you feel the need to.

Can you believe in the 80’s/90’s they didn’t use general anesthesia for this procedure? I almost shit myself when I heard that.

“it was more painful than childbirth”

Ouch.

I’m happy though, It’s been two years now and I’m hoping it works.
