40 days and 40 nights...
so i left on tuesday for an overnight with the youth group to go up to the norwoods camp. i really had a lot of fun, sam barber was there along with many other awesome people(TMNT night shirts? yah they rocked) umm but lets start at the beginning- the ride up was fun: Austin, sam b, dan t, josh f and me! we listened to our awesome homeboy mix and i came to find we have a few country lovers in the mix (i was very impressed that josh knew the words to strawberry wine..) umm then they boys had to pee and we were sort of in this carline where we were all following eachother so when we stopped all the cars stopped behind us but that left pastor frank going on without us and it freaked him out A LOT! so the boys came running across the road and peed in the bushes, got back in and we headed up to camp. that night we talked and relaxed and played card games and stuff. i talked about my accident and we started talking about the theme of this summer which is "why are we here?" its interesting and is definitely going ot be a good summer. ummm when we got there anna and i decided to make a fire and forgot to open the flume so all the smoke would go up the chimney..oopsy. so the house was fool of smoke and hte smoke alarm was going off and it was crazy. then late on that night deidre and i went on the canoe and went for a little hour and a half row.. arpad, mike mayes and joey came out to tell us it was time to come in and int he process of trying to catch us hit the side of our canoe with their kayake, this made us flip over and it a sight.. we had ot swim to the shore with a completely water filled canoe and try to get all the water out of it so we could paddle home. it was an adventure let me tell you!
the next day we went tubing and swimming and stuff. it was fun, and was my first time tubung! so much FUN! then all of a sudden my thighs starting burning and getting really warm.. i figured it was from the water and how hard i was hitting it hile tubing but nope.. i have beat red thighs from sitting on the boat all day. yup.. nasty sunburn!!ughhh all in all it was an awesome night and im SO excited for the next 40 days. soul fest will be the conclusion of this awesome theme and i cant wait! thank you to everyone who made it rock and a thank you to the people who are going to make this summer fun!
oh yah.. brought my explorer (aka exploder) into the shop the other day and they are going to fix it but dont know how safe it will be to drive afterwards.. shittttty! im so mad. so if you want to do anythign this summer come get me, i cant drive!! on monday night randa and i hung out after her brothers/my cousins bball game- i love that girl! hope you feel better hun, im here for you always! xoxo
