A lover’s alphabet falls from your lips

Your tongue the pen outlining swells and dips

You leave me sibilant from your inscription

The method you employ defies description

From a to z you scribe in lower case

As I press ever closer to your face

A gasp torn from my lips the only sound

As you begin to write another round

I gasp again as you begin to trace

The lines and curves that form the upper-case

I’m crying out - exploding - then reformed

Already you’ve taught me what it is to be unadorned

challenge five prompt three, challenge five
