"Who's our little patriot?" they'd say...

...when I was younger, and therefore smaller and shorter than I am now.

So I saw this post of Moby's last night. It's about a series of fake letters from soldiers based in Iraq that have been sent to newspapers. They're from soldiers, supposedly, but each -- instead of asking about family, friends, etc. -- act as a propaganda platform for President Bush.

And while I recognized how fake these letters sound, I didn't want to immediately assume their invalidity -- Moby cited no sources. But then, in the comments of his entry, someone posted this article from Washington's The Olympian: Many soldiers, same letter.

This just reeks of badness. I'd be interested in hearing thoughts, from both my liberal and conservative LJ friends.

moby, who's our little patriot
