Since deciding not to even attempt to add fonts to my icons anymore, have been making loads of the pretty. But I can't upload them until I can dispose of the
White Stripes Live on Conan O'Brien MPG.
So. Any last takers?
scarlettfish?
riddering? Bueller?
In any case, this is an icon I made from that video. Pretty Jack!hands. Queer Eye is on in a few, so I figure I shall burn time and review Alias' season premiere. Finally.
Well. I have to say my first reaction was not, "Where's Sark?" as it was the rest of my friends'. Only because I'm used to not seeing Sark in every episode, and I wasn't aware that David Anders became a series regular. But now, am very indignant at the absence of the Sarkage.
Actually, my first reaction was, "WILL! Where are you?" And only later did I find out that Bradley Cooper is not a series regular anymore which lead to much distress.
And then the kicker: Lena Olin. No more a series regular. WHAT? Tear my heart out and put it in the blender, why dontcha? So what, is this the season of the loss of all ambivalent females? No Lilah or Irina? ::tears hair out::
Anyhow. To my more detailed, less vague review.
Firstly, I just fell in love with every character again. Especially Syd. As I told
crushw_eyeliner, before Syd was just an "appreciated" character. But I now have a big smooshy love for Sydney Bristow. It's the fucked-up angsty bitchiness, I think. Always does me in.
Even though I was raising my eyebrow at her final bitch-out at Vaughn [actually, I was eating an apple, and I paused chewing for the whole hissy fit], I still was loving the hell out of her. If such a phrase exists. Her logic is a bit skewed. "I would have waited"? Sorry, hun. Really don't think you would. Some people are using her situation with Danny against what she said, which has merit, yet I do agree that since becoming a double agent her life has become more full of "madness".
But still. Syd. Come on. There was a dead body. There was a DNA match. You were dead to all appearances. Every single person in the world thought you were dead. Except for Jack Bristow. Which I will get to in an hour, since Queer Eye is on.
To be continued. Really. I mean it.
