sleep is good...

But, unfortunately, not something I've had a lot of in the past few weeks. And it all caught up with me today. Naps aren't just for babies and grandparents anymore.

Okay. The thunder? Not so fun. It's been raining on and off today, and there's been major big thunder. Irregular thunder, not just booms and crashes, but long low rumblings like an earthquake, almost. But no lightning!

I have been going insane with lack of fic, so I'm looking through all my bookmarked archive sites and re-reading all of my old favorite fics. Like Lori's The Return Of Riley, the BridgetJonesVoice fic. I love that story.

I know everyone's been talking about this lately, but it really does seem that season seven has Jossed everybody, therefore, no fic. Okay, there's still a plethora of crapfic at ff.net, but that's not what I mean.

Last season, it seems like I found an intriguing, well-written new WIP every week! Just think of all the amazing stories which started last year: Season Noir, Exquisite Corpse, Necessary Evils, Giving In, Things Present - Things Past", Thrall, and of course, the Bittersweets -- all of which are still (somewhat) continuing on into today.

The only season seven WIPs that I can think of right now are Half-Gifts and anniesj's epic struggle, Waking The Dead.

Oh shit. There's the lightning. My computer "zzzzz"ed at the exact same time. I think the storm is very close.

Yeah, anyway. Chapter Thirteen? I propose that Annie works on it and posts it before New Years. I know, I know, Spike Kills Babies For Money, but still. Ch 13 by New Years. You will NOT be Jossed entirely, Annie. You must persevere!

Another WIP that's been around since season six, by throstle: Try A Little Tenderness. It's more of a trilogy than a WIP, but the third story's first chapter was just posted. I love this fic to death.

I'm too tired to think more, let alone think. I just had a effin cup of tea, however, no caffeine boost.

It took me way too many tries to spell caffeine correctly. And it's starting to look wrong again. This is what happens when I'm tired, I lose my grammatical skills -- and often, my sanity.

Aaahh, I'll just shut up now.

(I still haven't seen The Two Towers. Grr.)

sleepiness is weakness of character, fic recs, lotr, weather, btvs
