Firstly, wisteria_, I send out big vibes of empathy. Bad days are the bane of my existence.
Today, the subject of Buffy came up while I was talking with my friends. Some of them are watching on FX, so I straightened them out some on the storylines. Finally, another piped up and said, "Wait, Buffy? Isn't that over?"
Me: "Um, no..."
BuffyLessFriend: "But didn't she die?"
Me: "Well yes, but --"
FXBuffyWatchingFriend: "She's died four times. I think."
BuffyLessFriend: [Condescending stare...]
Me: "Er..twice. But the first time, she drowned -- only for a couple minutes -- and they used CPR. The second time, she really died. They buried her and everything."
BuffyLessFriend: "So..."
Me: "Her friends brought her back from the dead."
BLF: "Really. How?"
Me: "Well, her friend Willow is a witch, and she used a spell--"
BLF: "Nevermind. I don't really care."

That's what I have to deal with! I should have said this:
"Willow's a really power hungry witch who ressurected Buffy because she was selfish, and Buffy didn't really want to be back anyway because she was in some sort of heavenly dimension so instead of hanging with her friends whom she secretly resented, she had loads of wild kinky sex with a vampire, Spike, who's in love with her. He has a computer chip in his brain that prevents him from hurting humans, except after the ressurection Spike finds out that it doesn't work on her and he is secretly really mad at her because she is acting like miss Ice Queen Of Denial to him -- she kisses him, insults him, than runs off. So one night he provokes her and she punches him, except he hits her back and they get into this horrible fight in an abandoned house and then she suddenly kisses him and the have mad sex all night long, collapsing the house in the process."

I'm in one of those moods right now. I hate it. I feel jumpy and tired, restless and bored all at the same time.
And I can't see Two Towers tonight! ARG!
