1. This morning I visited my MySpace (for the first time in...a long time) and saw that someone named TJ Moon had messaged me. It was the usual "Hey ur hott" which I find so charming, but I think for a moment we need to consider his name: TJ Moon.
Howard TJ Moon? Because that's certainly what I thought. Otherwise I wouldn't have clicked on the message in the first place -- I rarely do if I don't recognise the person. In any case, sadly, this man was not a Jazz Maverick.
2. Supergrass' Diamond Hoo Ha has turned out to be my Spring Is Here!!! 2008 album, and finally it has a USA release date! June 10, 2008! I'm almost entirely sure I'll be seeing them at Webster Hall on 30 July, and I am so. damn. excited. They were one of the first shows I ever saw in New York, and I haven't seen them since. I almost saw them on their Road To Rouen tour but already had tickets for Sigur Rós the night they played New York. And I was all set to see them do their 'homecoming' concert in Oxford this fall, but then Mick Quinn had to go and sleepwalk out of a window. So this'll be a long time in coming, and I MISS MY BOYS.
3. Two of my favourite bands were on Conan two nights in a row, and I was out quite late both nights and thusly missed out. Thank the zombie Jesus for the internets (and streaming video):

4. One of my favourite things in the WORLD is that Radiohead was Conan's first musical guest ever in 1993. Second favourite thing probably being Thom Yorke's hair at the time. (<---JOKE.)
