I just finished watching Human Nature.
1. That was probably my favourite DW episode, ever. I love TIP/TSP, but in terms of sheer mindfuckery and suitgasms? Yeah.
2. I love the actor who's playing Gaines. From that first little mock salute he gave as he climbed out the window, to the weird delivery as he was "showing his mother" to Jenny, I really want to buy him a beer. I mean, he just took the camp memo and WENT WITH IT, with a bit of his own touch of crazy. [And pretty. Nice jawline! Also, apparently he's the great-great-great-grandson of Charles Dickens.]
3. All I could think of in this episode was how I want David Tennant to join the Simon Pegg 'n' Jessica Stevenson party of awesome. And have a cameo in the next cinematic venture they go on. Also, DT and JS need to do a Coward play together sometime. They both have this dry wit that just...bounces off each other.
4. The trailer made me laugh hysterically. What was I thinking? I'll tell you:
"HAH! BABY! THE DOCTOR HAS CANONICALLY HAD SEX! THERE'S NO FANWANKING OUT OF IT! SCORE ONE FOR AWESOME!"
One question: What did Martha say after she ran out of the room after walking in on John & Joan kissing? I just couldn't decifer it for the life of me.
One IMDb-type fact: Jenny = Althea, Atia's servant girl in early S2 Rome, which is really distracting.
In conclusion, I love Martha Jones. Next Saturday, PLEASE.
