I woke up at 6:30 AM to watch yesterday's Rome. I haven't done that with a show since, well, I can't even remember.

YES. THOSE were the two main things I was trying to remember while writing the post. Maybe I'm forgetting again, but wasn't that the first time either of them had expressed vocally that he loved the other? And then Vorenus just...COMPLETELY ignores it. COMPLETELY. And I just hated every single time Vorenus cut down Pullo for 'speaking out of place'.
for a moment, when Vorenus picks up that heavy metal thingie, he was considering just killing Pullo. But luckily, the "demon" inside him subsided and he couldn't.
Yes, exactly. I also think that was the breaking point for him, the moment of 'what on earth am I doing?' that we'd all been waiting for from him, only it was masked by the fact that he just FELL off the balcony and was broken and exhausted.
Also, another YES to liking Eirene. She's hilariously tiny next to Pullo but I just LOVE how soft he is when he's with her. And they're starting to have this really lovely rapport.
I think he wanted Pullo gone, because he wants to believe that he's not worthy of love.
