Stephen Colbert is declaring war on The Decemberists because they are 'riding on his coattails'. They filmed themselves performing O, Valencia! in front of a green screen and asked their fans to animate and complete the music video.
He's declaring war by holding a Second Green-Screen Challenge, to edit and animate HIM [prancing around with a lightsaber, from the original challenge] into the video.
If I know the internets and pop culture [hello, Stephen Colbert Bridge in Hungary?], this is going to turn out to be the most ridiculously brilliant thing ever.
I am still proud that this all was inspired by his Better Know A District segment on my very own district, Marin & Sonoma Counties.
