To excuse this post from realizing its true existence, which is: stealing links from
amerella, I will offer a stream-of-consciousness paragraph I wrote while bleary-eyed this morning and trying to remember my very odd dream.
But first. The links.
-
Ricky Gervais, the 80s, and the cover of a J-Pop magazine. He kind of looks like David Bowie. That is not something I ever thought I'd say.

Bedtime Stories By Thom Yorke. McSweeney's, naturally. If the title alone doesn't make you want to click that link...I have no help for you.
Now onto my dream.
I have to write this down before I forget it. I had a dream that I went to a birthday party, and there must have been all of the characters of The West Wing there [BUT NO SAM SEABORN WHY?]. I received a GIFT CARD with the money to buy a ticket to travel to Iceland [between 1/1 and 1/13] to see the places where the recent Gerard Butler Beowulf picture was filmed, but somehow had the Chronicles of Narnia mixed in with it. I received said gift card because Josh threw it at me, down my dress. No one would say who it was from, I kept asking CJ to help me but she wouldn't, and then for some reason Dadmac had tried to make me do something for him and I got angry, and then I was just frustrated over the whole situation so I bitched at Toby, but then I apologized and realized I wasn't angry at him, and he smiled and said it was okay and I gave him a hug. There was also stuff with rooms of a house, flooding, computer files, and we had to investigate the rooms and find all the important valuable things and move them and I wish I could remember the whole thing because it was fascinating and I feel like there was more, more adventurey stuff with Iceland and as I drifted back to being awake and lost the dream, I held onto the fact that I was going to Iceland right until I woke up. I really thought I was going to Iceland.

As usual, I win at weird dreams. I'm sure it was all caused by the fact that I've been watching a bunch of TWW lately, yesterday I watched Zoolander [the computer files!], and my whole Thursday-sings-in-Icelandic rant last night. And I was discussing that Beowulf & Grendel film last night. But still. A gift card?
