The new System of A Down music video for "Boom!" is on the Netscape homepage. A while ago, I heard that Michael Moore directed it, and I was really interested in watching it, so I downloaded it last night.
Wow. That is intense shit. I keep watching it. And watching it, and watching it some more. It gives me the shivers.
I have this weird love/hate relationship with System of A Down. I was addicted to "Chop Suey," "Toxicity" and "Aerials" all last year, even though the band is SO FAR AWAY from the type of music I listen to. But those songs got massively overplayed (that was when I still listened to the radio) and they bug me now.
I really hope that doesn't happen with "Boom!" because that song makes me want to get into the middle of a mosh pit and go insane. Or run through the streets, singing at the top of my lungs.
gwynnega and all you others who have joined the peace rallies, I seriously recommend downloading this video. Even if you don't like the band. Hell, even my mother liked it! (Go to netscape.com, and click on the Music link.)
And
anniesj, I know you'll like this song because they say BOOM! a lot. Maybe that will make up for the recent lack of blowing shit up on CNN.
